Investigator Central - Advisory Committee
Meeting Dates
The CTRC Oversight Committee meets on the first and third Tuesday of the month.
As protocols are received by the CTRC, they are scheduled
for the next available meeting agenda, generally within one
to two weeks of receipt. The Oversight Committee performs
a scientific review of the protocol, reviews the adequacy
of the SMP, and determines whether the resources requested
by the Investigator for the research protocol are feasible.
Note the Oversight Committee meeting dates below. Internal review by staff
and the primary reviewer must be done prior to the committee meeting. In order
to have ample time to review and resolve concerns, protocols must be received
in the CTRC administrative office by 12:00 (noon) of the deadline date, in order
to be placed on the Oversight Committee agenda. In unusual circumstances, an
exemption to the submission deadlines may be granted allowing a more expedited
review. Such an exemption requires approval by Dr. Fried (mfried@med.unc.edu).
